A thought about my life and america

My life starts here at 5:30AM before sunrise. I get up and take shower and get ready to walk towards the LIRR station which is 25 minute walk from my house. I catch the 6:20AM train to Farmingdale and then I wait for 5 min for the next shuttle-bus. The bus starts at 7:10AM and I reach my office around 7:45AM.

The whole day goes on with preparation of simulation, fixing the leaks, catching the queue in the cluster...

Leave the office at 5pm and walk to the bus stop and wait for the shuttle and take a drop at the last stop which is the LIRR station at Farmingdale. Then the train comes on time and then I reach Hicksville and walk to home and I see the clock it is 730PM. Preparation of dinner and then sleeping and there was no time for movie and no time for TV and nothing was there in life..

During winter, the snowy roads are scary to walk... Thermal wear, and Jeans and Shirt and a jacket and a glove pair and a winter cap are the essentials of everyday. The train delay and cancellation, the powershutdown due to heavy snow fall are the weekly events..

America as I see...

In America, I feel...everything is tested to the extent that it can be. Be it playing capability, reading habits, health, love, money, power, age, sex, technologies like computer, aircraft, ship, boat, space shuttle. I also notice that children in US are much cleverer than other few countries that I knew. Perhaps, this is because they are taught the basics at much younger age and are given exposure to real life much earlier. Once I myself had to teach the students from 5th standard of some school near Arlington, Texas about the wind tunnel experiments, aircrafts capabilities. The experience with those students surprised me a lot.

In advanced countries, everything happens faster. On an average, people travel at 50mph overall and thereby reduce the time considerably in locomotion and which is used for other better capabilities.

In companies, tasks happen in a properly defined way. They are assigned and defined clearly and they are documented promptly.

Fuel, food prices have been constant with very little fluctuation for past 3 years unlike other countries where the prices of essential commodities keep rising.

There is a lot of love for the animals and severe punishment awaits the ones who endanger the life of the same.
