some more from the moscowite..
Some more photos to share with....
I had nice chat with two girls of russian origin. Both of them look cute in my photo because they were with me..... a nice experience.... their english was sweet mingling with russian language frequently..... sweet voice..... simply great....
Atlast, it was time to get back to my sweet motherland..... There was a bit of happiness and a bit of sadness.... Asking about my return journey??? of course.... it was also interesting........
An Indo-Russ...ian writes here...
This was my first visit to a foreign country. I flew first time for seven hours with lots of dream about Moscow. I was thinking about the people, culture, eatables, day and night, transportation, train, shopping, ... this process was going on and on ...several topics...so many guessworks... non-stop.
I prepared my baggage and ensured the weight limitation and also informed my friends about my trip. I kept my trip as a surprise to her. It was a surprise to her when i disclosed it over phone. I asked her what she needed from moscow.. Initially she declined to take anything.. Later i persuaded her to ask something.. then she said she wanted paintings and also mentioned that russians are good at paintings..
First I flew by Indian Airlines upto Delhi and there was a halt for half day. The next flight i had by Russian Airlines. I reached Russia safely. The Landing was fantastic. Hats off to that russian pilot. I did not even felt the landing. The day was shining. It was 30 past 9 in the morning. The climate was very pleasant. The pickup was arranged by the office where i had to work. The car drive to my hotel room @ Radisson Hotel, Moscow was fantastic. I guess the driver thought he is flying a F14.
Of course, it was an official trip. My work was fabulous... I loved it those days because I was the master in it and I also learnt that nobody else understood in my company. I made presentation to Russian experts about my work and also listened through their presentation and also gave feedback to their queries. They were good friends. Particularly, my russian counterparts were friendly ...
The days were very long. The temperature was moderate like Bangalore.. it was cool..
I had a long walk, saw terrifying traffic, went through long escalators, travelled by train, went around the moscow city by cruise through Moscow river, visited the third largest church in the world (The Cathedral), several parks, war-memorial place, Kremlin, visited Shopping mall and got some souvenirs, dolls, paintings for my friends and parents. It was nice to watch those Russian army chaps march past the revered freedom fighters memorial ground. In the evenings, I watched serials, Russian Movies in my TV. I enjoyed russian cuisine (roasted sea fish) all through the day at Radisson.
to be continued....
When I was in chennai...

We travelled long distance to see the Tsunami affected beach... and some adjacent temples... walked long distance... to reach the food centre...admired at innumerous eyes of the sky in the night...
It was fun.... fun... fun...
